Introduction
FRX Duo is an Advanced Diode Laser that combines two best-in- class lasers i.e. 1540 nm Erbium glass and 1930 nm Thulium. The two wavelength options allow for targeted treatment of different tissue depths for high-precision skin resurfacing and fractional therapy.

Treatment Overview
1540 nm Diode offers a non-ablative and non-surgical treatment approach, characterized by its ability to maintain tissue hydration due to its lower water absorption coefficient. Thulium 1930 nm matches the water absorption peak in soft tissue more precisely. It is more ablative with a slightly increased downtime in comparison to Erbium Glass 1540 nm. Energy at 1540 nm/1930 nm, induces controlled tissue injury in the dermis/epidermis with a special focus on activating fibroblasts to stimulate neocollagenesis.
Treated skin is healthier, more rejuvenated and vibrant-looking. The skin tone and texture are improved, wrinkles and fine lines are reduced and scars are less visible.
Erbium-glass laser is proving to be effective in regrowing hair by induction of a thermal effect on papillary dermis, which stimulates hair regrowth in patients with Androgenetic alopecia and Alopecia areata.

The FRX Duo Laser is a combination of non-ablative 1540 nm Er:Glass and sub-ablative 1930nm Thulium laser for skin resurfacing. It produces a multitude of deep MTZs, or microscopic treatment zones, to remove aging signs and repair damaged skin. The old cells are removed while the laser's heat tightens skin and stimulates the production of collagen. In comparison to ablative lasers like CO2 or Erbium:Yag which require a significantly longer recovery time, non-ablative and sub ablative wavelengths offer gentle treatment requiring no downtime to low downtime depending upon the results expectations. The FRX Duo offers two treatment modes, each working at a different wavelength. The 1540m is the best option if you're targeting fine lines, stretch marks, light scarring and acne scars. However, if you're more focused on improving skin texture and tone, treat deep acne, stretch marks or injury scars, Thulium 1930nm is The Answer.
You can expect results in two phases, the immediate or instant result and the more progressive improvement over the next 3-6 months as the deeper layers of skin heal with time.
While treatment provides benefits, outcomes are influenced by specific skin condition and skincare. Consistent skin protection helps maintaining the improvements. Follow the advice of your physician.
Patient should expect to see temporary redness or burning sensation immediately following the treatment and bronzing or micro lesions a few days after the treatment. Cool gel pad often helps in bringing instant relief. Moisturizing the skin will help alleviate any discomfort. Use of sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher is strongly recommended. Avoid direct sun exposure while you are healing (at least three months).
